Description

4,4′-Diphenyltetrathiafulvalene (DPTTF) is a heterocyclic building block. Formation of binary-component self-assembled monolayer (SAM) of DPTTF andn-tetradecane molecules with periodic strip-like phase separation structures on a highly oriented pyrolytic graphite surface has been reported. DPTTF capped gold nanoparticles having 3 to 5nm diameter have been prepared. FT-SERS studies of DPTTF adsorbed on chemically deposited silver films and excited with near infrared radiation have been reported.
