Carboxymethyl- β- Cyclodextrin is a negatively charged β- Cyclodextrin derivatives are generally used for chiral analysis of neutral and basic analytes due to their countercurrent motion ability.
Product application:
Cyclodextrin (CD) is passed by D-glucose unit α (1 → 4) cyclic oligosaccharides linked by glycosidic bonds. Ordinary cyclodextrin contains 6( α- CD); 7( β- CD) or 8( γ- CD) D-glucose units. Cyclodextrins are sometimes obtained by esterification at positions 2, 3 and/or 6.
Carboxymethyl- β- Cyclodextrins (CMBCD) are used in the development of enantiomeric recognition and separation technologies based on chirality and size. Carboxymethyl- β- Cyclodextrins are used for chiral selection and separation in capillary electrophoresis. Carboxymethyl- β- Cyclodextrins are used in the development of drug delivery carriers, such as nano carriers and nucleic acid transfectants.
