Retinoic acid-related orphans

Retinoic acid-related orphan receptors (RORs) are a group of nuclear receptors that function as transcription factors and play important roles in the regulation of various physiological processes, including metabolism, immunity, and development. There are three types of RORs: ROR-alpha, ROR-beta, and ROR-gamma, encoded by the RORA, RORB, and RORC genes, respectively.
