Non-catalytic pattern recognition receptors

Non-catalytic pattern recognition receptors (PRRs) are a group of proteins that play a critical role in the innate immune response by recognizing and binding to pathogen-associated molecular patterns (PAMPs). Unlike catalytic PRRs, such as Toll-like receptors (TLRs), non-catalytic PRRs do not have intrinsic enzymatic activity.
