Tumor-associated antigens (TAAs) are a class of antigenic substances that are present on both tumor cells and normal cells. They are useful in identifying tumor cells with diagnostic tests and are potential candidates for use in cancer therapy. TAAs can be recognized by host-derived T and B cells, whereas donor-derived B and T cells can recognize both TAAs and alloantigens.
