HSPGs is a linear polysaccharide that exists in all animal tissues. It appears in the form of proteoglycan, with two or three HS chains adjacent to the cell surface or extracellular matrix protein. It is in this form that HS combines with a variety of protein ligands, including Wnt, and regulates a wide range of biological activities, including the development process, angiogenesis, blood coagulation, and eliminates the isolation activity through GrB and tumor metastasis.
