Chloroplatinic acid hydrate - 99.995% trace metals basis, high purity , CAS No.16941-12-1
Basic Description Synonyms CPA solution 25;Hexachloroplatinic(IV) acid hydrate;Hydrogen hexachloroplatinate(IV) hydrate; Platinic chloride hydrate;Dihydrogen hexachloroplatinate(IV) hydrate; CPA;Chloroplatinic acid Specifications & Purity 99.995% trace metals basis Storage Temp Store at 2-8°C Shipped In Wet ice Product Description Chloroplatinic acid hydrate is one of the most soluble compounds of platinum. Used for the production of platinum metal and its compounds
Product Application:
Dihydrogen hexachloroplatinate(IV) is used as a catalyst in the determination of potassium and in the purification of platinum. It is also used in catalysis reactions, electroplating, photography, platinum mirrors, printing for etching of zinc, producing fine color in glass and porcelain, indelible ink and in microscopy. In the presence of copper(II) chloride, it is used to catalyze the photooxygenation of alcohols to aldehydes or ketones. It plays an important role in intramolecular hydrosilylation of an alkyne and hydrosilylation reactions.
