Product Description

(+)-Cloprostenol is a synthetic analog of prostaglandin F2α (PGF2α), a PGF2αR (FP receptor) agonist and a potent water diluent in hamsters and rats. (+)-Chloroprostenol is the optically active 15(R) enantiomer of chloroprenol and possesses most of the biological activity. The potency of chloroprenol in termination of pregnancy in hamsters and rats, respectively, is that of PGF2α 200-fold and 100-fold without the side effects associated with PGF2α.
