Product Description

Copper(II) nitrate hemi(pentahydrate) is an inorganic copper salt.

Application

Copper(II) nitrate hemi(pentahydrate) may be used in the preparation of novel coordination polymers. Copper(II) nitrate hemi(pentahydrate) may be used in the following stuies: Preparation of water/sodium bis(2-ethylhexyl)sulfosuccinate/n-heptane microemulsions (consisting of aqueous core of the reversed micelles some water-soluble salts [CaCl 2 , Na 2 HPO 4 , Cu(NO 3 ) 2 ]). As a copper precursor for the preparation of thin films of Cu 2 ZnSnS 4 (CZTS). Preparation of 4-methoxypyridine-(pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylato- N,O,O ′) copper (II). Mechanochemical synthesis of coordination pillared-layer frameworks (CPLs), particularly CPL-1. Catalyzes oxidative coupling of 2,6-dimethylphenol to produce a polymer which is an important engineering material.
