Product Description

Vitamin B5 or pantothenic acid is a viscous oil that is soluble in ethanol and water. It is produced by plants and microorganisms.d-(+)pantothenic acid is the naturally occurring form of pantothenic acid and is biologically active.

Vitamin B-5D-Pantothenic acid calcium salt hydrate acts as a precursor in the biosynthesis of coenzyme A. It also involved in the catabolism of fatty acids, preparation of heme and the neurotransmitter acetylcholine. It is involved in the regulation of gene expression and in signal transduction. Further, it is used in sphingolipids, cholesterol and steroid hormones.
