Dihydrocytochalasin B is used as specific marker in studies of high affinity cytochalasin binding sites unrelated to sugar transport. Dihydrocytochalasin B also disrupts the equilibrium between monomeric and polymeric actin. Marker for high affinity cytochalasin B binding sites.
