Product Description

Echinacoside is a natural polyphenolic compound with various kinds of pharmacological activities, such as anti-inflammatory, antioxidative, hepatoprotective, neuroprotective, nitric oxide radical-scavenging and vasodilative ones. Echinacoside (ECH) is a natural secondary metabolite, a phenylethanoid glycoside (PhG) found in the roots and stems of many plants. It is a water-soluble compound. Echinacoside was first isolated from the roots of Echinacea angustifolia (coneflower). It can also be sourced from other medicinal plants such as Echinacea purpurea (purple coneflower) and Cistanche salsa.
