Company accounts
Unlike the standard business-to-consumer model, Out integrated B2B (Business to Business) features are designed to meet the needs of sellers who have customers that are companies. It accommodates companies with complex organizational structures and multiple users with various roles and levels of purchasing permission. A typical B2B customer might be a buyer that makes purchases on behalf of a company. In both cases, the transaction takes place between Aladdin and theirs. Aladdin might also sell products direct to the consumer. B2B for Aladdin is an integrated solution that provides support for both B2B and B2C models.
The buying experience can be personalized with customer-specific catalogs and pricing, and targeted content and promotions.
Company accounts
The Company component is the key entity within B2B on which all other features are in some way dependent. It allows joining multiple buyers that belong to the same company into a single company account (or corporate account). The company administrator is able to build the company structure (divisions, subdivisions, and users) in the appropriate hierarchy and provide different user roles and permissions to the company members. This hierarchy allows the company administrator to control user activity for the company account: ordering, quoting, purchasing, access to company credit information or profile, and so on. A seller can configure how the buying company operates on the website, including the payment methods, pricing levels, the ability to negotiate prices, and the ability to create requisition lists.
Advantages of a company account:
• Offers unlimited company users and the creation of additional accounts, which simplifies corporate purchases.
• Includes support for a smart company account hierarchy with different roles and permissions for placing orders.
• A company account can be provided company store credit as a payment method.
• Supports the management of all company accounts in the Admin.

Company administrator
It is possible that the person who serves as company administrator has multiple roles within the company. Company structure
A company account can be set up to reflect the structure of the business. Initially, the company structure includes only the company administrator, but can be expanded to include teams of users. The users can be associated with teams or organized within a hierarchy of divisions and subdivisions within the company. The structure is designed to support the use of approval rules for purchase orders (POs) associated with the company account.
In the company administrator’s account dashboard, the company structure is represented as a tree and initially consists of only the company administrator.
When the account is created, the company administrator can use the company email address or be assigned a different email address.
In the following example, the initial company structure includes the company administrator plus an individual user account in the name of the company administrator. But company administrator functions (such as company structure and approval rules) are available only when they are logged in to the user account that is designated as the company administrator.
