Crystallization of lipid mesoporous membrane proteins
Summary
Crystallization of proteins using lipid mesoporous membrane proteins can be used to resolve X-ray crystal structures of prokaryotic and eukaryotic proteins, proteins that are monomeric, homo- and hetero-multimeric, chromogenic-containing and chromophore-containing, and alpha helical and beta-tubulin. The most recent successful crystallization is the human-designed beta2-adrenergic and adenosine A2A G protein-coupled receptor.
