Operation method
Pandy test
Principle
Proteins in cerebrospinal fluid combine with phenol to form insoluble Pr salts and appear as white turbidity or precipitate.
Materials and Instruments
cerebrospinal fluid (CSF)
Saturated phenol solution
Move
I. Experimental reagents: saturated phenol solution: phenol 10ml plus distilled water 10Oml at 37 ℃ for a few hours, the bottom layer of phenol precipitation, the upper layer of the saturated solution, keep away from light.
Second, the experimental operation: take 2ml of saturated phenol solution in a small test tube, drop CSFI-2 drops in the black tube view immediately observed.
Third, the results of the experiment to determine:
Negative: clear and transparent, does not show fog
Very weak positive: (earth) slightly white fog, can be seen below the star-colored background
Weakly positive: (+) grayish-white cloudy
(+ + +) grayish-white turbid
(+ + + +) white thick flocculent precipitate
