paper chromatography
Summary
Using paper as a carrier, a liquid stationary phase (e.g., water, formamide, or others) is uniformly adsorbed on the paper, and a solvent that is not miscible with the stationary liquid is used as the mobile phase. The specimen is dropped on one end of the paper and unfolded in the unfolding tank, and due to the different distances that the components move on the paper, spots separate from each other are eventually formed, realizing the chromatographic method of qualitative and quantitative analysis.
