Florisil is a hard, powdered gel of magnesium-silicate used in preparative and analytical chromatography. Typical chemical composition of Florisil: MgO - 15.5%, SiO2 - 84.0%, Na2SO4 - 0.5% Surface area:289 m2/g Grade information: A Grade:Standard activation grade, activated at 650 degrees C B Grade:Less active grade, activated at 260 degrees C PR Grade:Pesticide residue analysis grade, activated at 675 degrees C Florisil is a registered trademark of U.S. Silica Company
