Background: Whole IgG antibodies are isolated as intact molecules from antisera by immunoaffinity chromatography. They have an Fc portion and two antigen binding Fab portions joined together by disulfide bonds and therefore they are divalent. The average molecular weight is reported to be about 150 kDa. The whole IgG form of antibodies is suitable for the majority of immunodetection procedures and is the most cost effective

Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (Alexa Fluor® 405) (Ab138202) - ICC/IF IF analysis of HeLa cells labeling PABPN1 with purified PABPN1 Rabbit mAb (Ab119979) at 1/200 dilution. The cells were fixed and permeabilized with 100% methanol for 5 minutes, and blocked with 2% BSA for 1 hour at room temperature. Cells were counterstained with beta Actin Mouse mAb (Ab155822) at 1/500 dilution - Goat Anti-Mouse IgG H&L (Alexa Fluor® 488) 1/1000. Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (Alexa Fluor® 405) (Ab138202) was used as the secondary antibody at 1/500 dilution. Images were taken on the confocal laser scanning microscope.
