The atomically thin layers of MoS2and WS2represent important class of TMD based 2D-material and they find applications in photocatalysis, phtotovoltaics, gas sensing, lithium ion batteries, field effect transistors, spintronics etc.MoS2can be used for a variety of applications such as ultrafast photonics, lithium ion batteries, and high speed flexible electronics.
