Oxychlordane is found within the cell primarily in the membrane (predicted from logP). Oxychlordane is considered practically insoluble in water. Oxychlordane is potentially toxic and weakly basic, enough that it is considered neutral based on its pKa. A dose-response relationship between serum concentrations of Oxychlordane and diabetes prevalence has been established.
