Akt Signaling Pathway

The "Akt Signaling Pathway," also known as the PI3K-Akt pathway, refers to a critical cellular pathway involved in transmitting signals from cell surface receptors to intracellular targets, regulating various cellular processes such as cell growth, survival, metabolism, and proliferation. The pathway is named after one of its key components, Akt (also called Protein Kinase B or PKB).
