    Product NameSA-HRP (HRP-labeled Streptavidin) - 500U/ml, high purity
    Product Description

    Product manual

SA-HRP (HRP-labeled Streptavidin) Chinese name is horseradish peroxidase-labeled Streptavidin, also known as horseradish peroxidase-labeled streptavidin. The HRP-Streptavidin is cross-linked with high-purity Streptavidin and ultra-pure horseradish peroxidase to ensure the lowest background and highest sensitivity.

Streptavidin has a molecular weight of 60kD and can bind to Biotin with a high degree of specificity. The affinity constant of Streptavidin and biotin is Kd=10-15M. Streptavidin is a tetrameric protein that can bind 4 biotin molecules at the same time. Streptavidin's Chinese name is streptavidin. It is recombinantly expressed and has a high degree of similarity with Avidin from egg white in terms of spatial structure and affinity with biotin. Unlike Avidin, Streptavidin is a non-glycosylated protein and is basically uncharged. Avidin has a pI= ~10.5, which is alkaline under neutral pH conditions. Since Streptavidin has no charge under neutral conditions compared to Avidin, the non-specific binding of Streptavidin is much lower than that of Avidin, so the non-specific background during detection is much lower. Therefore, Streptavidin is usually used instead of Avidin in biotin testing.

Horseradish peroxidase, namely horseradish peroxidase (HRP), can catalyze ECL reagents (such as ECL, BeyoECL, etc.) to produce chemiluminescence during Western, EMSA, Southern or Northern detection, and can catalyze TMB to produce blue color during ELISA. It can also catalyze DAB to produce brown precipitates in immunohistochemistry, immunocytochemistry or Western blot detection.

    Product Usage

It can be used for the detection of Biotin-labeled antibodies, nucleic acids, proteins or other biotin-labeled molecules. Specific uses include Western, ELISA, immunohistochemistry or immunocytochemistry, in situ hybridization, Southern, Northern, EMSA, etc.

    Instructions

Refer to the table below for the recommended dilution ratio of horseradish peroxidase-labeled Streptavidin for various general purposes. In the actual experimental operation, the dilution ratio of horseradish peroxidase-labeled Streptavidin should be appropriately adjusted according to the specific conditions. For Western, the recommended dilution range is 1:2000-10000.

    Precautions

Sodium azide can inhibit the activity of horseradish peroxidase. Sodium azide should not be added to the solution containing horseradish peroxidase. For your safety and health, please wear lab coats and disposable gloves for operation.

    Instructions for use

For Western, ELISA, immunohistochemistry or immunocytochemistry, in situ hybridization, Southern, Northern, EMSA, etc., please refer to the relevant experimental procedures. The initial dilution concentration is diluted according to the recommended dilution ratio in the product introduction.
