Product Description
Aladdin's T4 Gene 32 Protein is a single-stranded DNA (ssDNA) binding protein encoded by gene 32 of the bacteriophage T4 genome.T4 Gene 32 Protein is required for T4 DNA replication and repair. During T4 DNA replication, T4 gp32 protein binds to and stabilize the regions of ssDNA transiently formed. When examining the intracellular DNA structure by electron microscope, this protein is extensively used to stabilize and mark regions of ssDNA. Additionally, T4 gp32 was reported to simulate the restriction enzyme digestion and T4 DNA polymerase activity, increase the reverse transcription efficiency and the yield of PCR products during RT-PCR.s
Application:
stabilize or mark ssDNA; recombinase polymerase amplification (RPA); stimulation of restriction enzyme digestion and in vitro DNA synthesis; site-specific mutagenesis experiments (with T4 DNA Polymerase and T4 DNA Ligase); increase the yield of reverse transcription products during RT-PCR; increase the yield and specificity of PCR products from samples containing humic acid (The inhibitory effect of humic acid can be reduced by a factor of 7 by this protein at a concentration of 2.5µg/100µl).
