Product Description

Improved TOMEI (iTOMEI)" is a plant tissue-clearing method that specializes TOMEI for fluorescent protein observation by Prof. Sakamoto et al. iTOMEI enables simply transparency and clearly detecting fluorescent protein. This product is a decoloring reagent for iTOMEI. 

Description
This product enables transparency by simple osmosis in just a few days (more than 2 days) and keeps the fluorescence of a fluorescent protein such as GFP or tdTomato co-expressed as a reporter gene.
The mounting solution is also required to complete the iTOMEI method.

* The treatment time of DAPI staining is for 30min with 5 µg/mL and the treatment time of Calcofluor White staining is for 10min with 1 g/L of Calcofluor White M3R and 0.5 g/L of Evans Blue, but their adjustments are needed for the purpose.
** Mounting solution : Please use the suitable mounting solution for objective lens.
