Product Description | Trypsin-EDTA Solution(0.05% Trypsin) Aladdin's Trypsin-EDTA Solution (0.05% Trypsin) contains 0.05% trypsin and 0.02% EDTA, with a pH of 7.2-7.8. It is sterile and generally used for the digestion of cultured cells or tissues. This product is ready to use and works with high efficiency. Most adherent cells can be digested in about approximately 1 minute at room temperature. Trypsin-EDTA Solution(0.25% Trypsin;with phenol red) Aladdin's Trypsin-EDTA Solution with Phenol Red (0.25% Trypsin) contains 0.25% trypsin, 0.02% EDTA and phenol red, with a pH of 7.2-7.8. It is sterile and generally used for the digestion of cultured cells or tissues. This product is ready to use and works with high efficiency. Most adherent cells can be digested in about 1 minute at room temperature. Please see Figure 1 for the performance of this product in digesting different cell lines. Digestion result can be examined by a microscope. Stop cell digestion when a slight morphological change occurs and there is no need to wait until cells appear rounded.Figure 1. Use aseptic techniques while handling the Trypsin-EDTA Solution to avoid microorganism contamination. Over digestion of cells should be avoided to prevent cells from being damaged and killed. It is recommended to take an appropriate amount of this product and equilibrate to room temperature or 37℃ before use if necessary. Do not equilibrate the whole bottle of this product to avoid the reduction of enzyme activity. This product is for R&D only. Not for drug, household, or other uses.
