Product Description

Aladdin's  UltraBio™ Agarose Precast Gel is a safe, ready-to-use, and high-quality product commonly used for electrophoresis of DNA or RNA samples. This precast gel contains the non-toxic NA-Red dye with similar excitation and emission spectra to ethidium bromide (EB). After electrophoresis, the gel can be observed directly without the need of gel staining.

This precast gel is convenient and safe to use. The precast gel is ready to use and time-saving. It only takes about 10-30 minutes from gel preparation to the completion of electrophoresis. This product contains non-toxic NA-Red dye, with the advantages of safety (very low mutagenicity and no significant cytotoxicity), high sensitivity, and good stability. After electrophoresis, the gel can be examined by an appropriate UV lamp (about 300nm wavelength) used for the observation of EB gels.

The quality of this product is stable. This product is prepared in an assembly line, with stable and reliable quality, good reproducibility, and high consistency among different batches of this product.

This product provides good resolution effect. This product is free of DNase, RNase, and Protease. It ensures excellent resolution of nucleic acids, with flat and clear bands, and is a perfect choice for separating nucleic acids of 0.5-10kb in size. Its performance is comparable to that home-made agarose gels.

This precast glue has a long shelf life. The precast gel can be stored at room temperature for up to 2 weeks, or at 4ºC for up to 6 months.

Precautions：

This product cannot be stored below 0ºC. Otherwise, the gel will freeze and crack. Do not squeeze the gel either to prevent deformation.

When running electrophoresis with this product at the first time, it is advisable to pause the electrophoresis when the bromophenol blue reaches the middle of the gel, observe the targte band and take pictures. If necessary, the electrophoresis can be continued further.
