Product Description

YM 976 is an inhibitor of PDE4 (phosphodiesterase 4) (IC|50|= 2.2 nM), which is an enzyme responsible for hydrolyzing cyclic phosphodiesters in the secondary messenger molecule cAMP. This allows the secondary messenger to have a longer half life and thus increases the length and intensity of signal transduction.
