Both (2S)-(+)-Amino-5-iodoacetamidopentanoic acid and (2S)-(+)-Amino-6-iodoacetamidohexanoic acid are demonstrated to produce antitumor effects in rat and mice studies, decreasing total serum proteins and increasing ALT and AST levels in these models.
