Biochemical and Physiological MechanismsSelective APE1 inhibitor (IC 50 = 3 μM). Binds to the active site of APE1 and inhibits the AP endonuclease, 3'-phosphodiesterase and 3'-phosphatase. Potentiates the cytotoxicity of several DNA base-targeting compounds.
