Biochemical and Physiological MechanismsCeftiofur Hydrochloride is a cephalosporin antibiotic. The compound is a derivative of a third generation cephalosporin, Ceftiofur. Ceftiofur has been used in bovine studies and in antibiotic resistancy studies of Escherichia coli and Salmonella enterica.
