Product Description

Dimethyloctadecy[3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyl]ammonium chloride solution (DTSACl) is a silane coupling reagent.
DTSACl may be used for modification of silica. It was used to functionalize Fe3O4/silica core-shell nanoparticles. DTSACl may be used as a precursor to form silica, 3 and MeMFI zeolite. It acts as a mesopore-generating agent.


Application:

DTSACl functionalized silica nanoparticles incorporated in thermochromic dyes can be used in textile industries. They are also used as quaternary ammonium groups for the modification of nanocelluose/graphene oxide based membranes to be used as stable solid state electrolytes for zinc air batteries.
