Product Description

The product is anhydrous sodium thiosulfate (Na 2 S 2 O 3 ). It can be obtained from Na 2 S 2 O 3 .10H 2 O by heating above 100°C. It can be synthesized from sodium sulfate.


Application

Sodium thiosulfate (Na 2 S 2 O 3 ) may be used in the following studies: Industrial synthesis of methylene blue. Quantitative estimation of elemental iodine by titrimetry. Detection of trace levels of cysteine by employing triangular silver nanoplates (TAg-NPs).
